The Practitioners Effective Fatherhood Services Scale (PEFSS), which was designed to measure organizational responsiveness in relation to providing services for fathers. In the rapidly growing fatherhood practitioner field many organizations have struggled to effectively address the issues of fatherlessness, responsible fatherhood, and healthy relationships for improved father-child outcomes. Subsequent to the assessment, program development and evaluation the PEFSS was developed to investigate aspects of organizational preparedness to enhance services for fathers.
