Phoenix Youth & Family Services, Inc.(PYFS) is the Fathers & Families Coalition Affiliate for South East Arkansas under the leadership of their CEO, Toyce Newton. PYFS is located in Crossett, Arkansas and operates projects in five counties at nine service centers in one of the most economically disadvantaged regions of the nation.
Established in 1995, Phoenix Youth and Family Services, Inc. (PYFS) is a social, economic and community development organization whose mission is to create opportunities for rural impoverished residents in the Southeast Arkansas Mississippi Delta. They currently serve the five contiguous counties of Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha, and Drew. As a highly visible recipient of public and private funding, PYFS has established itself in its five county communities as the “go-to” quasi-public agency on matters affecting nearly every aspect of the community’s social fabric, and is recognized by funding sources as a creditable organization.
