Why Your Donation Makes A Difference?
Arizona Fathers & Families Coalition is a small non-profit making giant gains to help families. We focus on the needs of children, mothers and fathers. As with most non-profits, funding to support the necessary services is always limited. Sponsorships and donations help us provide annual college scholarships to a low-income father from Arizona, Connecticut and a National recipient. Your investment allows us to educate other organizations on the role of fathers and child development. These are a few of the facts that fathers make a difference:
- Over 30,000,000 children in the U.S. do not have a father living with them and over one-third will not see their father at all in the next twelve months;
- 90% o fall homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes;
- Over 71% of high school drop outs are from fatherless homes;
- Young children growing up without father's involvement are ten times more likely to be extremely poor;
- 20,000,000 children live in single parent households;
- 70% of juveniles in state operated institutions come from fatherless homes; and
- 85% of all youths sitting in prisons grew up in a fatherless home.
All donations go towards college scholarships or services for families, fathers, or practitioners and no donations go towards operational costs.
